  • MSD Board of Trustees Delegation Visits Mbeya Region

    The representative of the Board of Trustees of the Medical Depot (MSD), Dr. Alex Magesa, who was accompanied by the Director of Procurement Hamis Mpinda, has made a visit to the MSD Zone, Mbeya, as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations since the establishment of MSD.

    During the visit, the leaders visited the clients of the Mbeya Regional Referral Hospital and spoke with them to find out how they receive MSD services and discuss together how to improve those services.

    The MSD athletes participating in the SHIMUTA 2024 competition in Tanga region have used today's holiday to visit the Ngamiani Health Center in Tanga region and provide health products to the Mother and Child Ward.

  • MSD Receives Award from the School of Pharmacy (MUHAS)

    The School of Pharmacy (MUHAS) has awarded the Medical Supply Department (MSD) an award for good working relationships and cooperation. The award was presented at the 50th anniversary of the School and was received by the Director General of MSD, Mr. Mavere Tukai on behalf of MSD staff.

    Speaking after receiving the award, Mr. Mavere said that MSD is a stakeholder of the school of pharmacy and has been providing cooperation to provide theoretical training to students at various levels.

  • MSD Participates in the 2024 SHIMUTA Championships

    The players of the Drug Store (MSD) who will participate in the 2024 Sports Federation of Public Organizations, Institutions and Private Companies (SHIMUTA) competition in Tanga, today Friday, November 8, 2024, have been bid farewell by the MSD Management and have begun their journey to the competition.

    Speaking at the farewell to the players, the Acting Director General of MSD, Elisamehe Macha, reminded the employees that sports are part of the job so they should ensure that they uphold the values of MSD including courage and discipline as they do in their workplaces.

  • MSD Employees Empowered, on Quality Management Systems

    The Medical Device Depot (MSD) staff who manage the Quality Management Systems (QMS) have been empowered to carry out and manage their responsibilities effectively and professionally in the workplace.

    Speaking at the closing of the training, the Acting Manager of Quality Management at MSD, Ms. Estella Meena said that the special training is expected to be a catalyst to ensure that the requirements of the international quality certification, namely ISO 9001:2015, are fully implemented, thus improving performance and ensuring that the goals of the institution are achieved.
