The Drug Depot (MSD) has been awarded a special award by the Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute (JKCI) in recognition of its contribution and collaboration in improving services and treatment of Heart Programs in the country.

The Director General of the Tanzania Medical Depot (MSD), Mavere Tukai, has stated that the MSD, in collaboration with the Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute (JKCI), continues to strengthen strategic partnerships aimed at improving access to medicines and medical equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases in the country.
MSD, has been awarded the Award of Service Excellence in Pharmaceutical Sector through the annual Tanzania Service Excellence Award 2024, organized by the Charted Institute of Customer Service (CICM). The awards were presented yesterday by the institution at a special ceremony held at the Holiday In Hall, in Dar es Salaam.
The Tanzania Medical Distribution (MSD) has entered into an agreement with the Tanzania Police Force aimed at strengthening the protection and security of health products distributed by MSD in the country. The agreement also aims to fully manage the health product transportation system and thus make it safe and ensure that health products reach health care facilities safely.
