  • MSD hands over surgical equipment worth 210 million - Itigi

    The Medical Depot (MSD) through the Dodoma Zone today handed over surgical equipment to Itigi District Hospital, located in Singida region, worth a total of 210 million shillings.

    Receiving the equipment, Manyoni District Commissioner Dr. Vincent Mashinji said the government's intention to purchase the equipment is to ensure that health services are provided at acceptable levels, and reduce preventable deaths especially for mothers and children during childbirth.

  • RMO Manyara - Asks Health Service Centers to Pay MSD Debts

    Health service providers in Manyara Region have been reminded to continue with the procedure of paying debts to the Medical Supply Department (MSD) as doing so will enable MSD to have good capital to continue purchasing health products that are distributed to health service providers in the country.

    This was stated by the Chief Medical Officer of Manyara Region Dr. Andrew Method when he opened a meeting of stakeholders and clients of MSD in the Kilimanjaro zone of Manyara Region.

    The Medical Device Depot (MSD) has committed to improving the availability of laboratory products in the country, in order to strengthen the investigation of various pathogens in the country.

    This was stated by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of (MSD) Rosemary Silaa, when she visited the Bukoba Regional Referral Hospital and the Bukoba Rural District Hospital, a visit that aimed to receive feedback on MSD services from customers, marking the 30th anniversary of MSD starting its official work.

    Igunga District Commissioner Hon. Sauda Salum Mtondoo has commended the MSD Drug Store for the improvements in its services, which has led to the reliable availability of health products in the country, thus bringing relief to service providers and citizens in general in the district.

  • MSD Board of Trustees Delegation Visits Kilimanjaro Region

    MSD Board of Trustees Member Dr. Ritah Mutagonda, who is also the guardian of MSD Kilimanjaro Region, has congratulated MSD Kilimanjaro Region for exceeding the sales target by reaching 115% during the first half of the 2024/2025 financial year.

    The Board of Trustees Member gave the congratulations during her visit to customers served by the Kilimanjaro Region, as part of the activities to celebrate 30 years of MSD's operations.
