MSD Tanga Zone Customers Commend MSD Service Improvements
Customers of the Tanga Regional Medical Store (MSD) have commended MSD for the significant improvements it continues to make in the timely distribution of health products.
The commendations were given at different times during the visit of the Member of the Board of Trustees of MSD who is also the Guardian of MSD in the region, Dr. Rukia Mwifunyi, to the region, to talk to the customers they serve to get their opinions on MSD services and receive their challenges so that they can be addressed.
The visit is being held as one of the events to celebrate 30 years of MSD's operation since 1994, where before that it was called Central Medical Store (CMS)
The pharmacist of the Tanga Regional Hospital (Bombo), Kibwana Mgude commended MSD for delivering health products on time and explained that now the availability of health products has improved to a high level.
“We are currently receiving medicines and medical supplies on time and we have every reason to commend these improvements by MSD,” said Mgude.
For her part, Magdalena Chambo, a Nurse at Nkumba Health Center, said the procedure carried out by MSD to deliver health products to the centers six (6) times a year is good.
Dr. Mwifunyi, speaking during the visit, commended MSD for the great work they are doing, where he used the opportunity to request to maintain cooperation between them and their clients they serve. He urged MSD clients to provide their suggestions that they will find productive for improving the activities carried out by MSD.
“Providing good services for the distribution of medical supplies and medicines is a good thing because the community and the nation depend on us,” said Dr. Mwifunyi.
During the visit, Dr. Mwifunyi was accompanied by some MSD officials from Tanga Zone and Headquarters led by MSD Legal Services Manager, Elisamehe Macha, MSD Communications and Public Relations Manager Ms. Etty Kusiluka and Customer Service Manager Dr. Pamella Sawa.
