Health service providers in Manyara Region have been reminded to continue with the procedure of paying debts to the Medical Supply Department (MSD) as doing so will enable MSD to have good capital to continue purchasing health products that are distributed to health service providers in the country.
This was stated by the Chief Medical Officer of Manyara Region Dr. Andrew Method when he opened a meeting of stakeholders and clients of MSD in the Kilimanjaro zone of Manyara Region.
Dr. Method reminded the executives that the quality of MSD services we see today at health service providers has been influenced by the good availability of funds to operate MSD.
In addition to paying our debts to MSD, but we should continue to work closely with this institution of ours and where there are challenges, it is good to sit with them to resolve them to eliminate complaints from service recipients who are citizens, said Dr. Method.
However, Dr. Method has commended MSD for improving services to Manyara Region where the improved services have enabled an increase in the availability of health products to reach 95%.
