MSD stakeholders and customers have been reminded to continue collaborating
MSD stakeholders and clients have been reminded to continue to work closely together to ensure that they continue to improve access to health products in the country and to become a mechanism for paying off debts to enable MSD to have good capital to continue purchasing health products.
This was stated by the Arusha Regional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Charles Rashid Mkombachepa when he opened the annual meeting of MSD stakeholders and clients in the Kilimanjaro zone of Arusha region. Dr. Mkombachepa reminded the executives that the quality of MSD services we see today at health care facilities has been influenced by the good availability of funds to operate MSD.
However, Dr. Mkombachepa has commended MSD for improving services in the Arusha region where these improved services have enabled an increase in access to health products to more than 90%.
Dr. Mkombachepa said that due to the improvements that MSD is making, complaints have decreased, but he stressed that it is good that we sit together and resolve the few remaining challenges in order to discuss improvements more than complaints.
For his part, MSD's Finance Director Undule Koroso said these sessions are important for MSD as they improve relationships and communication between MSD and its customers and customers get the opportunity to meet face to face with MSD to discuss issues of improvement in the entire healthcare product chain.
