MSD Drivers Build Capacity
MOROGORO.
MSD employees in the Driver cadre have continued to be empowered through various training courses organized by institutions, such as defensive driving, road signs, vehicle inspections, road safety laws, cargo loading and the best way to drive large vehicles that pull tella (trucks and trailers) to increase productivity in their work and the institution in general.
The 10-day training involved theory and practice and was provided by experts from the Veta Technical College, located in Morogoro Region.
For his part, the College's Instructor Mr. William Emmanuel Munuo, who has been conducting the training, commended MSD for coordinating the training, as it has been productive for his students.
"Technology is changing in vehicles, safety standards are increasing, roads are changing, currently there are high and low roads in the country, so it is good to train our drivers so that they can keep up with the times, I congratulate MSD for seeing that" Said Mr. Mnuo
Speaking on behalf of MSD Drivers Mr. Marwa Wangwe, he said that the training has increased their knowledge, confidence and understanding of various important issues in the operation of fire engines.
He has also requested the MSD Management to coordinate the training regularly, in order to build their capacity and increase productivity in the implementation of institutional activities.
