MSD Board of Trustees Member Dr. Ritah Mutagonda, who is also the guardian of MSD Kilimanjaro Region, has congratulated MSD Kilimanjaro Region for exceeding the sales target by reaching 115% during the first half of the 2024/2025 financial year.

The Board of Trustees Member gave the congratulations during her visit to customers served by the Kilimanjaro Region, as part of the activities to celebrate 30 years of MSD's operations.

Dr. Mutagonda has also directed the Regional Manager to ensure that they strengthen the availability of health products, especially those for specialized services, in order to improve performance in health care facilities.

Speaking to the Kilimanjaro Region staff, MSD's Chief Internal Auditor, Jafari Makoka who accompanied the Board Member on the visit, has urged MSD employees to carry out their duties with professionalism, diligence, honesty and compliance with laws and regulations.

The MSD delegation visited the Kilimanjaro Regional Referral Hospital, Mawenzi and spoke with the hospital management, where among other things they expressed satisfaction with MSD services.

The hospital's Chief Medical Officer, Edna Munisi, told MSD that they are in the final stages of completing a dialysis facility for kidney patients, and have already received some machines to provide the service.

The visit continued at the upgraded Uru health center, in Moshi district and the Rau Dispensary in Moshi Municipality.
