Distribution of CEmONC Equipment, Dodoma and Singida Regions
The Medical Stores Department (MSD), through its Dodoma Zone serving the Singida and Dodoma Regions, has continued with the distribution of Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and New Born Care Services (CEmONC) equipment.
Speaking about the distribution, the MSD Dodoma Zone Manager, Mr. John Sipendi, said that the distribution of the equipment to the health care facilities served by its Dodoma Zone is in implementation of President Samia Suluhu Hassan's directive to improve emergency maternal and child care services.
He noted that his Zone is currently implementing the distribution to approximately 26 health care facilities that were identified for the distribution of the equipment in the Singida and Dodoma Regions.
"It should be noted that the President has been making it clear that one of the priorities of the government in this 6th term is to ensure that it improves services, especially those that will reduce maternal and child deaths during childbirth". He said Sipendi
Manager Sipendi has stressed that he will continue to ensure that all equipment brought from the headquarters is distributed on time and quickly to the designated health care facilities.
However, in addition to the distribution of CEmONC equipment, the Dodoma Zone has also continued to distribute other health products to approximately 685 health care facilities in the Singida and Dodoma Regions.
