The Pharmaceuticals Depot (MSD) has won three awards for Best Employer in 2024 through the awards presented by the Tanzania Employers Association (ATE).

In the awards presented by the Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Dotto Biteko, MSD has emerged victorious in three awards which include the Club of Ten best performers, the first runner up for an institution that provides employment opportunities (First runner up job creation and the second runner up Public Sector).

Speaking after receiving the awards, the Director of Administration and Human Resources MSD Mboyi Wishega, explained that MSD has succeeded in obtaining the awards due to the strong leadership of the Director General, Mr. Mavere Tukai, in overseeing the implementation of operational changes within MSD, to ensure that all the goals of its establishment and those of the Strategic Plan are achieved.

He added that another secret of victory is the good cooperation between the Management and all MSD employees in the implementation of daily duties. He noted that this culture of cooperation is an important value that led to the victory of the awards.

Wishega expressed gratitude to the Sixth Phase Government, Under the Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan and the Ministry of Health in general, for the good cooperation they have been providing MSD, as you have been the catalyst for enabling MSD to fulfill its responsibilities effectively
