MSD Receives Award from the School of Pharmacy (MUHAS)
The School of Pharmacy (MUHAS) has awarded the Medical Supply Department (MSD) an award for good working relationships and cooperation. The award was presented at the 50th anniversary of the School and was received by the Director General of MSD, Mr. Mavere Tukai on behalf of MSD staff.
Speaking after receiving the award, Mr. Mavere said that MSD is a stakeholder of the school of pharmacy and has been providing cooperation to provide theoretical training to students at various levels.
He added that MSD continues to receive students who need to obtain information and training on the supply chain in the health sector and the availability of health products, especially medicines.
In addition to receiving the award, MSD, as a major stakeholder in the provision of health product procurement services to citizens, participates in exhibitions organized by the school while showing citizens how it carries out its Production, Procurement responsibilities.
For his part, MSD Customer Service Manager Dr. Pamella Sawa, said that through these exhibitions MSD has continued to provide education on various products that are currently produced through its factories but also various products that MSD purchases for health care centers in the country.
“I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all citizens to the MSD pavilion to learn about the various things that MSD has prepared for them”. Said Dr. Sawa.
