MSD Mbeya Zone, Collaborates with Pharmacists to Improve Services

MBEYA:

MSD Mbeya Region has held a meeting with pharmacists from 17 councils and pharmacists from all regions served by the Region

For his part, the Manager of MSD Mbeya Region, Mr. Marco Masala, said the aim of the meeting was to set joint strategies to improve access to health products in the regions, as well as strengthen relationships.

Among other things, through the meeting, they have agreed to form a special permanent committee that will assist MSD Mbeya Region to monitor the implementation of the resolutions reached at the meeting.

And the designated chairperson of the Committee, Ms. Lucia Mkumbo (Mbeya Regional Pharmacist), has congratulated MSD for making the meeting a success and said that they are ready to work together to achieve the intended goals, including managing and ensuring that health centers submit their requests for their needs early and use other sources of income instead of relying solely on funds from the central government.

Recently, MSD, through its various initiatives, has been committed to ensuring that it strengthens the availability of health products in the country, while improving communication and relationships with its customers and stakeholders.
