MSD Commended for Initiating Meetings with Its Stakeholders
Dodoma.
Dodoma Regional Administrative Secretary Hon. Ally Senga Gugu, has commended the Dodoma Regional Medicines Dispensary (MSD) for meeting with its stakeholders and discussing various issues related to the health product supply chain, which affect both parties with the aim of improving services and bringing productivity to the citizens.
Hon. Gugu made the commendations today, while opening a working session between MSD Dodoma Zone and its stakeholders in Dodoma Region, held in Kondoa district, with the aim of discussing achievements, improvements and various challenges existing between the two parties.
Mr. Gugu added that the meeting is an important bridge to ensure that MSD and its stakeholders maintain unity that will enable them to serve the citizens on time, for each to fulfill their responsibilities, in parallel with receiving the challenges that will be raised and providing solutions to improve health services.
“Ensure that there is a productive discussion on the best way to work together so that everyone can fulfill their responsibility to serve the citizen. It is my hope that after this Meeting we will leave with a shared understanding and resolutions, the implementation of which will improve the availability of health products and improve services.”_ said Mr. Gugu.
And the Dodoma Regional Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Best Magoma, has called on all doctors and professionals who attended the Meeting, to openly discuss the various challenges they face, in order to strengthen the supply chain of health products, as this issue is a cross-cutting issue that requires joint efforts to avoid unnecessary blame between MSD and its stakeholders.
And the MSD Dodoma Zone Manager, Mr. John Sipendi, has thanked his stakeholders for responding to the call to participate in the meeting, while highlighting the various strategies and improvements currently being implemented by MSD, to ensure reliable access to health products. He also asked the stakeholders to maintain relationships and communication throughout the implementation of their responsibilities, in order to increase productivity in serving the public.
