Members of the Medical Depot (MSD) Staff Council have visited Tarangire National Park with the aim of seeing the various attractions available in the park which is located within the Manyara region.

The visit has come to increase the enthusiasm and encourage various visitors and staff to visit our tourist attractions in the country, as a support for the efforts of the Sixth Phase Government, under President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, in promoting tourism in the country.

Speaking during the visit, the Secretary of the Council, Mrs. Joan Ruth Msangi, said that they as representatives of MSD staff, thank the MSD Management for facilitating the trip and they have felt proud to visit the park with unique attractions that are rare to see in other places.

“The Tarangire National Park has many animals, including large groups of Elephants, where today we were lucky enough to see them is a unique opportunity for us MSD staff to see these animals again more closely” said Msangi

On the part of the staff who visited the park, they have commended the efforts made by MSD leaders to ensure the trip is a success and have urged leaders and staff of other institutions to visit this unique park and others available in the country, to explore, learn and be educated on various conservation issues.

Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest park in Tanzania, located in Manyara Region, with an area of 2,600 square kilometers.
