MEDICAL STORES DEPARTMENT (MSD) HAS ENTERED INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TANZANIA POLICE FORCE
The Tanzania Medical Distribution (MSD) has entered into an agreement with the Tanzania Police Force aimed at strengthening the protection and security of health products distributed by MSD in the country. The agreement also aims to fully manage the health product transportation system and thus make it safe and ensure that health products reach health care facilities safely.

The Director General of MSD Mr. Mavere Tukai said that due to the growth and expansion of MSD's responsibilities, there is a need to strengthen relations with the police force in the various responsibilities carried out by MSD."We hope that this collaboration between the Police Force and MSD will go a long way in controlling all loopholes in the loss of health products and ensuring the safety of medicines needed for the health of Tanzanians."
