MSD trains transport officers to strengthen its service delivery in the country

The Management of the Medical Stores Departmnet (MSD) has organized a special three-day training for its drivers to build their capacity and enhance their skills to carry out their duties more effectively, while increasing work efficiency and strengthening its commitment to serving the people.

The training, which officially began today, Monday in Iringa region, focused on various topics including key areas of reform within MSD, defensive driving techniques, fleet management, road safety laws, and best practices for vehicle management in general.

Officially opening the training, the Director of Human Resources and Administration of MSD, Mr. Mboyi Wishega, congratulated all drivers for their dedication to work and supporting the mission of MSD and enabling it to achieve its goals.

“It is undeniable that you, our drivers, have been the backbone of MSD’s distribution activities, and your loyalty and hard work are the foundation of the success of our institution,” said Mr. Wishega. “

However, he stressed that the implementation of these responsibilities requires regular training to increase knowledge and creativity in their work performance.

Mboyi also urged the drivers to adhere to discipline, and good ethics, but also to strengthen integrity, discipline at work, in line with compliance with road safety laws.”

He also stressed the importance of drivers being ambassadors for the safety and efficiency of MSD vehicles, saying that by doing so, the institution will increase productivity and achieve its motto of “Saving Lives.”

The training involved various speakers from stakeholders and friendly institutions, including the National Institute of Transport (NIT), Bakhresa Company, Superdoll, ASAS, as well as MSD itself, as part of MSD’s broader strategy to develop human resources and improve its services,
